Todd L. Strong, PT
Todd Strong is the founder of Kapa`a Physical Therapy. He was born and raised on the east coast in South Carolina. Growing up on the water in Charleston, he had always dreamed of coming to Hawaii. After earning his degree at the College of Charleston in 2000, Todd took a year off before graduate school to fulfill his long time dream of living in Hawaii. He spent that year living in Hanalei and fell in love with the island’s ocean, mountains, and especially the people and aloha spirit! He returned to graduate school where he attended the Medical University of South Carolina and earned his master’s degree. Finally, Todd came right back to Kaua`i to make him home and start Kapaa Physical Therapy.
Claire Girgis, Office Manager
Claire is the real MVP of operations at KPT. She has been apart of the team since early 2018, and has become a vital part of the team. Her attention to detail makes her the perfect recipient of any and all questions. And with over fifteen years experience in customer service, you can be sure to be greeted with a warm smile when you walk through our doors.
When she’s not in the office, Claire’s hobbies include teaching yoga, jumping rope and hiking sleeping giant for sunrise. Originally from the East coast, she migrated to the islands in 2017 after a business trip in 2014 brought her out to Hawaii.
Marin Johnson, Office Asisstant
Marin Johnson is a fairly new addition to the team here at Kapaa Physical Therapy. Her wide range of professional ability, and many years of experience, makes working with her a breeze. Born in Hawaii and raised on the Garden Isle, Marin connects with the community of our patients with ease and is always happy to help with any task.
Marin’s life outside of KPT is filled full of family and fun. She is a mother of two, and spends all her time adventuring with her family.
Meet Hoku, our office mascot!
You may get the privilege of meeting Hoku at the office. Our furry friend likes to chill out in the office AC on hot days. He also loves the beach, going on walks with Claire and Marin during office hours, and chasing chickens.
